BENDING STICKS celebrates the thirty-five year career of internationally renowned environmental artist Patrick Dougherty. Dougherty has created hundreds of monumental, site-specific sculptures out of nothing more than saplings, and the film follows the artist during a year of stick work, revealing Dougherty’s process, personal story, and inspirations.
